Passage to India is the brainchild of Anil & Rajni Sud and Rajiv Bhatnagar who each have respectively more than 20 years of hospitality experience behind them.

All have worked and travelled extensively around the world and wanted to bring their common love and vision of providing consistently good food and service, uncompromising high standards and quality to Jamaica. Anil is also a member of the prestigious Chaine des Rotisseurs, an International Gastronomic Society founded in Paris in 1950, that is devoted to promoting fine dining and preserving the camaraderie and pleasures of the table. Anil holds the title of Vice Conseiller Culinaire in the Jamaican chapter.
 
Since its inception in February 1999, Passage to India has established an iconic status and garnered numerous awards and accolades. In addition,
Passage to India was recently featured in Nyam Jamaica, a culinary book published in 2008.

There are also two other award-winning restaurants owned and operated by this dynamic trio, Coconuts on the Bay in Ocho Rios and Jewel of India in Kingston.
